question Iolite Vaporizer Hard to Hit?Question:
Its hard to inhale. its always been hard to inhale and i cant get decent hits because of that. if tried lightly packing the herb chamber and its the same. any help would be much appreciated. thanks

I realize this is an old post, but hopefully you’ll find my answer.

I had the same problem with my iolite. I thought it might be the stem was clogged with gunk and cleaned it, made no difference. I did notice that the pipe cleaner was hindered by something – the hole in the stem seemed a little small. I also noticed that there was an off flavour while vaporizing.

Shortly after that, my stem melted just above the threaded joint before the chamber and broke off in my hand. I guess it had a defective thermostat and had been gradually melting over an extended period, restricting the vapour flow.

My suggestion would be to send it back to iolite and have them check it out for you.

I have since purchased an replacement iolite and have had no problems with it. The last one must have been a lemon.
