Question:
The definition of smoking – the visible vapor and gases given off by a burning or smoldering substance, esp. the gray, brown, or blackish mixture of gases and suspended carbon particles resulting from the combustion of wood, peat, coal, or other organic matter.
Vaporizers heat herbs up to a point right before burning or smoldering, that’s why their more healthy. To get to a burn or smolder point, this is a set temperature the substance must reach, vaporizers will always be under that temperature as that’s there main function.
Assuming no hotel has a specific policy against vaporizing, rather a blanket no smoking policy, no charges or fines could be levied against a guest vaporizing legal herbs in a non-smoking hotel room.
Even if there is a smell (with vaps there isn’t really a smell), the act of vaporizing legal substances in hotels is not banned in any fashion nor can a smoking relation be made since the substance in question doesn’t reach burn or smoldering levels. Can you counter any of the points i’ve made?
I travel a lot and since vaporizer technology is still rather new, I doubt any hotels include them in the restrictions.
Snarky, any substance usually has to reach the burning or smoldering level to omit a smell, as such, anything lower than the aforementioned temperature points, will not omit much of a smell, if any as the combustion level has not been met in heating the herb.
The could try and charge me Snarky, I don’t think they would succeed without a specific vaporizer clause (they won’t have one) and the fact that I will have a legal herb with me at all times – just in case the legality of the herb smoked in question comes into play, for that, I will always have the legal herb as a back up and evidence that it could have been legal BAHAHA.
